Dove Creek Pines is located near the Sam Houston National Forest in Coldspring, Texas—about an hour north of Houston. Our peaceful woodland setting makes it easy to disconnect while still being close to local attractions and restaurants.

Is the property private?

Yes. Each cabin is thoughtfully positioned to maximize privacy while allowing guests to enjoy the shared beauty of the surrounding forest, walking trails, and outdoor spaces.

What time is check-in and check-out?

  • Check-in: 2:00 PM

  • Check-out: 10:00 AM

Is Wi-Fi available?

Yes. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout your stay.

Are pets allowed?

Yes! We allow up to 2 dogs during your stay. There is an additional pet fee. Please see pet policy upon reservation completion for full details.

Is there wildlife?

Yes! It's common to see Deer, Squirrels, Songbirds, Woodpeckers, Owls, and Butterflies.

Because we're surrounded by nature, you may also encounter insects, frogs, or other native wildlife.

Is smoking allowed?

No. Smoking or vaping is not permitted at any cabin.

Do you have security cameras?

For guest safety, exterior security cameras monitor the entrance, parking areas, and fire pit.

There are no cameras inside the cabins or private outdoor spaces.
